The key people behind the Organic Cities Network Europe
Every network is only as good as the people who are a part of it. The Organic Cities network is no exception. We are really fortunate to have passionate members from all of the member cities, municipalities and institutions. On this page you can find out more about the individuals who promote the network’s vision and mission.
In addition to his role at Organic Cities, Josef Taucher is the chairman of the SPÖ (Social Democratic Party of Austria) parliamentary group at Vienna City Council and State Parliament and energy spokesman for SPÖ Vienna.
In addition to his role as the Director of Bioforschung Austria, Bernhard is also a lecturer at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.
The Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Florence has been the Director of Organic Cities Network Europe since 2018.
In addition to his role as the President of CIttà del Bio, Antonio is also a Piedmont Regional Councillor and Municipal Councillor Sant’Antonino di Susa.
Elected to Paris city council in June 2020, Audrey is now the Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of sustainable food, agriculture and short routes.
Britta’s role involves driving climate neutrality and environmental protection in the metropolitan region, designing green spaces focused on biodiversity, and strengthening the municipal health system
Among many areas, Cecilia is responsible for urban planning, environment, urban agriculture, tourism, fairs and congresses and technological innovation, smart cities, and the coordination of Recovery Plan projects.
Giovanni Venegoni has worked at the Milan Center for Food Law and Policy since 2015 and is specialised in the areas of agri-food and water systems.
For more than a decade, his company has specialised in the development of innovative, tailored packaging solutions and logistics for vintners and wine merchants.
The Manager for Quality Systems, Moreno Botti, has been the Mayor of the Tuscan municpality of Loro Ciuffenna since 2014.
Mücella is a project manager at the Department of Climate Protection, Environment, Mobility, Urban Development and Housing of Bremen City Council.
Nadia Štifanić Dobrilović has been the Deputy Mayor of the City of Poreč – Parenzo since 2013.
Since May 2008 the Mayor of Seeham in Austria, Peter Altendorfer has an agricultural background, having switched to organic farming in 1994.
A city councilor in Augsburg since 2014, Reiner is currently responsible for the areas of sustainability, environment, climate and health.
Ronny has been the State Councillor for Transport and the Environment at Bremen City Council since 2015.
In addition to his prominent role in the Biostädte Network, Werner is also the Head of the BioMetropole Nuremberg.
